Help with my tire decision!
Hey guys,
I searched and read a few threads, but still stuck on what tires i should run. My car is a 93 Hatch, LSV making 491@15psi heres the thread.. https://honda-tech.com/forced-induct...sults-3225623/
I'm looking for some new front tires for traction. I do have bbg setup, 11psi 1/2, 15 in 3rd. It currently has some crap Doral 195/50/15s. I'm considering the following tires:
Toyo R888 225/50/15 found for $170per
MT ET radial 225/50/15 found for $182per
MH radial 235/60/15 website says $219 a pair?
My tuner advised against the MH because the size, said it's harder on oil pump and tranny. I'm looking at daily driving on these tires. I've ran the MT radials on a turbo ef i had and they did great @ 350hp, though i slid off the road the first night i had them on and it was wet outside
I run the R888s on my supra and love them, but i know it's a totally different car/setup.
What do you guys think? Suggestions/advice?
Thanks!

Mh are 219 each, but are only sold in pairs, requiring you to add 2 to the cart (disclamer from the site)
Also, them being harder on the oil pump is total bullshit. It isnt really any harder on the trans. Ive seen a few guys running them on 3rd gen integras.
The r888s wpuld probably be your best bet for your needs though
