Default Free wheels! But will they fit?

A friend of mine has a pile of wheels sitting unused in his barn. I found some that I really like, they are off a 1977 Porsche 924. They look like this

Except finished in gloss white. I believe they are 15" wheels, some googling shows they are 4x108 with a 34mm offset.

Would they fit on my 1994 Civic DX with some spacers or are they incompatible?

You would need adapters, not spacers. And those are 14x6, not 15". They may fit your car with the adapters, but they're going to be a pointless change (unless you're looking to spend $300+ for adapters just to say you're running Porsche wheels).

Isn't going to be cheap to make that fit. You would need to find adapters as you can't run these with wobble bolts.

Got it. That stinks, they're very nice wheels! Back to the hunt I guess!

So just out of curiosity, would these adapters do the job?

They could work for putting the wheels on your car... however, the wheels themselves are going to stick out past the body lines.

I just keep coming back to them because of the price of the wheels themselves (FREE). Even with the adapters it's still far cheaper than other wheel options right now. Probably gonna end up passing on them and wait for a better option.

Your existing wheels/tires are actually free. These would still require you to spend money. And, they'd be a massive waste, unless you had a hard-on for the design. The wheels are no larger, so you'd be running the same size tire. The wheel will stick out of the car a bit, so it'll look like its completely out of place. And, to top it off... you'd be stuck doing more work, just to make them fit your car for no discernible gain.

You're being blinded by the term "free"... especially since these technically are not free at all.

My current wheels are terrible, the PO seems to have hit every curb in her path while driving the car. WHen I had some used tires put on the front wheels the guy had to hammer the rim back into place in numerous spots on both wheels.

But otherwise yeah, the word FREE did enchant me.

Not a bad idea, really.

I've also seen a few sets of wheels/tires go for less then $250 around here (used, of course).
