Do i have to get an alignment after getting new tires ?

Default Do i have to get an alignment after getting new tires ?

I'm lowered on D2 coilovers and was wondering after i get new tires do i have to get an alignment too ? I've already got an alignment after i dropped the car but now i need new tires. Let me know guys/girls thanks !

it wouldn't be a bad idea. Technically you should be checking the alignment regularly to see if it's off. road vibration and bumps may throw you off alignment.
If the alignment was done over 6 months ago, defenitely. And if the tires you're changing are different than the ones you got, or a heck of a lot newer, go for it.

You don't need an alignment just because you're getting new tires.

There are specific reasons to get an alignment. When you change the suspension components, or if you see unusual wear patterns on your tires, or if your car is pulling to one side or the other, then you need an alignment. Other than that, it's not a bad idea every once in a great while, but doing it every six months in the absence of any of these conditions is overkill IMHO.
