Custom widen 17x11.5 +63 rpf1 295/35/17 kumho xs
Widening was done here.
eric vaughn machine: aluminum wheel widening and narrowing
These rimes started as 17x9.5+38 rpf1. Then I had them widen on the inside to 17x11.5 which makes the off set +63. Tires are 295/35/17 kumho xs. This should fit great on the stock body s2000 with just rolled rear fenders. This uses exactly all the space in the wheel well. This should help with traction for my new stroker motor. These rims are now 18 pounds 2 oz each. Still way lighter than stock rims.

Re: Custom widen 17x11.5 +63 rpf1 295/35/17 kumho xs
I finally got my rpf1s on. The inside of the 17x11.5+63 actually hit the inside very slightly. I could have probably gotten away with a 3mm spacer. But instead I had asm fender flares put on and had the rear oem fender cut and welded. I'm now running a 15mm spacer making the rear rim setup a 17x11.5+48. After these tires die there should be enough room for a 315/35/17 tire.
Front is the stock rolled fenders with the standard 17x9+45 with a 255/40/17 kumho xs.
Since this rim started life as a 17x9.5+38 and Im running 15mm spacers. The poke of my setup would be the same as a 17x9.5 +22.
Also I'm still on stock suspension. I bought some bilstein pss9 but the rear reservoir are much bigger than stock and hit the inside of my rims so I had to sell the coilovers. I plan to get the koni and ground control setup and lower the can maybe 1/2 to 1 inch.

I'm sorry but you are incorrect. Offset is how far the hub is from the centerline of the rim. If you widen only the inside of the rim you are still moving the centerline of the rim. When you widen the inside of the rim you will increase off set but one half the amount you are widening. Since I widen these 17x9.5+38 rims 2 inches on the inside this will increase the offset by only 1 inch. 2 inches is about 50mm. Half of that is 25mm. 25mm plus the original off set of 38mm makes this rim a 17x11.5 with a +63mm offset. I'm running a 15mm spacer so the effective offset +48mm.
