Default 15 inch tire advice ?

hi guys and gals! hows it going? ive got an 2002 civic sir hatch or ep3 and i am wanting to get some sumer tires for it in the near future and i want to stick with the stock 15 inch rims. but i also want to get a more aggrieve tire that i can live with on a daily basis and that be bad or not that good in the rain. i drive in the GTA area in ontario canada. i would also like to keep a fair amount of side wall hight if possible like 50 or 55 and id would like to stay in the 215 to 195 width range. i do run winters in the colder parts of the year so i dont need or want all seasons. here are some of the tires im looking at so far

AZENIS RT615K TIRE | Falken Tire
i like this tire but im worried about safety in the rain as i do drive the car on a daily basis

g-Force Sport COMP-2 | BFGoodrich Tires
i like these they are my top contender so far

hope this helps and any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I would definitely recommend that BF Goodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 but I don't see a 15" size that would work on the EP3's stock wheels. In the 205/55-15 size, I like the Dunlop Direzza DZ102 as a great summer performance option for a daily driver.

thanks for the help! the gforce sport comp 2 size i was looking at was the 195 55 15 i dont think they make it any wider for a 15 rims. the dunlop looks like a good option but the video test you guys did swayed me more towards the bf goodrich tire

That definitely makes sense. The 195/55-15 is a little shorter than normally recommended, but it's not a load capacity issue plus the smaller diameter will help out your effective gear ratio and feel a bit faster, so I see why you would want to go that route. That BFG is a dynamite tìre, I spent a couple days out at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah last year ripping those tìres around a track (albeit in a mustang) and they handled great and withstood the abuse I threw at them for two days of hard lapping!

Why wouldnt you go 205/50 vs 55? Or 195/50

Because they're undersized for the car.
