I'm sure most guys will know what this is being used for.. Looking for a cone to be used for the upper plenum of a dual-plenum intake manifold.

Besides making it myself out of possibly thinner gauge material, I was hoping to find one in minimum 1/8" wall thickness in aluminum. I don't have access to a machine that will roll and form material in this thickness.

I looked into this a while back, and I remember finding "kits" where you could buy the whole kit or just some of the pieces. Try googling for that because I cannot seem to find the source again.

Hey SovXietday, I remember the source you're talking about, but the website is no longer there unfortunately.

The Jenvey plenum box is pretty pricey, and I was planning to build something from scratch...

bend something in two peices with .125 5052 sheet, weld down the center, would be the easiest and you can make the taper, make it out of cardboard first.

Those are often referred to as megaphones. Just google aluminum megaphone and I'm sure you'll find someone.
