Do you mean a turbo header? Or an N/A header?

For the turbo header, use 1.5" Schedule 10 pipe.

For an N/A header, use 16 gauge tubing.

For an N/A header the tube size varies alone with length depending on weather your talking a primary or secondary runner. Engine size, rpm range, head work, use, supercharged, etc. the list goes on.

It most likely won't do well unless you take these type of things into consideration.

there is a reason i havn't touched building a N/A header.

Most of the design in an N/A header has to do with EVO and EVC and the time the engine spends at overlap. Dont' get me wrong, the IM, cr, cams size and red line also plays a big factor.

So to answare your questione you would have to provide more info on what you are building.

*Turbo header aka manifold 1.25" or 1.5" sch 10 or sch 40 pipe.

*N/A header 1.5", 1.626", 1.75", 1.78", 2" 14ga, 16ga or 18ga tubing, any of them, or a combination will work, depending on what you are bilding and for what purpuse.
