Default Wastegate flange options?

Hallo guys.

I've gathered few brand wastegate options and wanted to ask questions about them - this topic is regarding to flanges, are they the same for all wastegate brands.

Ok, here's the list:

-Vibrant 50mm V-band
-Turbosmart 50mm V-band
-Synapse 50mm V-band

-Turbosmart 60mm V-band
-Tial 60mm V-band

-Tial MV-S (38mm V-band?)

-Tial MV-R (44mm V-band?)
-Old model Tial V44 - 44mm V-band

-Tial 38mm 2 bolt
-Turbosmart 38mm 2 bolt

The question is - are both Tial & Turbosmart 38mm 2 bolt flanges the same?
Are all the 50mm V-band flanges the same? And also are all the other size flanges the same?

I'm asking this to know, if I need to know exact brand of wastegate which will be used by customer... or do I only need to know that he want 38mm 2bolt or 44mm V-band and so on

Hope you get what I mean

Thanks alot

i've never seen a 2 bolt flange that was different. the 35/38mm pattern is standard across wg brands.

now the v-band is a different beast.

all the tial wg's have a different size flange between the wg inlet & outlet. make sure you order the correct one. i'm not sure if the new mvs wg's have different size or profile from the regular wg's. i've used both- but never put them side by to compare. i'd be surprised if they were different.

the synapse vband is different from the tial- but the inlet & outlet flange are both identical so you don't need to worry about mixing them up.

i haven't used too many turbosmart wg's but i believe their vbands match the tial ones.

vibrant doesn't sell their own wastegates- just the flanges. the description/name of the flange will dictate which which wg it goes with.

most wastegates come with flanges for fabrication. you really only need to be concerned if a customer provides you with a used wg with no flanges.

So, all those 35/38mm 2 bolt flanges are the same and I don't need to know exact brand... if customer requires 38mm 2 bolt, I cannot miss with flange options Correct?

But for all V-band options it is the best thing to know which exact wg will be used, to weld on the right flange, correct?
