Default manifold fabricating questions

Is that inner lip or whatever you call it ok there when welding. or should I shave it off?
What size filler rods are you guys using? This manifold will be done with sch. 40 SS. My welder said he could backpurge it for me, if that matters.
Which runners are paired and in what order?? too lazy to search.
thanks,Surge

Removing the bevel would be baddd!!!

That helps with penetration on the first pass!

are you going to try welding or is this your buddy?

if he knows how to weld, he should be able to answer all of your questions. if he doesn't, you probably don't want him welding anything for you.
