Since this is merely a show-the-work thread...give up some TIG settings on the runners of that ramhorn.

Tung dia, filler dia, amps per pass (root, fill), argon flow rate...etc.

Very nice ramhorn and topmount setup....absolute **** by metal!

looks pretty good

I think the turbo could be further back from the radiator support though.

I would like to see some pics of the inside of the runners of the penetration

The steel welds look great, The Aluminum welds look pretty rough? Perhaps it is just a bad photo?

Keep up the good work!

Yet, no response still. Seems like a thread made to "go to work". OP's usually return to respond to various comments, not just let the pictures work their magic on newbies with cash in their pocket.

Hope this isn't the case.

Why?

Can anyone, preferrably the mod who deleted explain? Why can't settings be posted? Surely that isn't the whole story.

Erebuni...by the way. Did you just use the two bungs that are welded to the top of those intercooler cores by bolting it directly to the top wall of the bumper itself. It's hard to tell in the picture, but it appears like a hole was cut and it was just mounted directly to the top.

^Yeah, that's a given, but that doesn't make any sense. The entire thread is still here, so why can't he post his TIG setup?

everything that josh writes gets deleted.

we did not do the intercooler mounting so i could not tell you. all we did was manifold and pipings and install. the person come to us with the cooler already mounted.

im not sure where you came up with that.?.?

i work for cc-fab. josh and coreyr are owners of it. there are not ongoing scams nor were there ever. just people waited longer then they should have when josh was doing all of the work by himself in his garage.

yes he mounted it directly to the to the bumper support.

as for settings if i remember correctly

3/32 tungsten
1/16 316 filler (might have been 309 on that one)
100A root 90A filler
gas was 20ish CFH

hope that helps

as for why it was deleted: hes IP banned so hes not supposed to be posting
