Should use pre-preg. No matrix infusion required.

Pre-preg is awesome, but requires an autoclave to cure it and a cool place to store it. Definitely better though

Gotcha. I guess if you wanted to go bigger, an autoclave would be needed. For headlights though an oven could work

Autoclave was the beat thing we have invested in. But we are doing all sorts if things from small cf spacers to full car bodies

No the size isn't the factor. You get better parts with autoclave. There are no issues with spanners and there is better definition.

i know that. what i meant was if someone is just making a few cf parts here and there, an autoclave might not be worth the investment.
