Default Blocking WG passage

Here it is: IHI turbine with a hole for WG which will not be here. I'd like to block this hole somehow. Any ideas?
Weld it? If so- how?

This turbo is big enough to blow H22 in one pass... Capable to 550hp. But it's off-topic.

first make a good seal with valve lapping compound. Then use a long bolt and a few nuts to hold it shut with the wastegate actuator bracket.
