I'm just curious as to the reasoning behind relocating the alternator.

Does it have to be pretty? I have a couple ideas on how it could be done. Do you have the factory mounting brackets still?

if you provide a little more detail on what you are doing you will be more likely to get a valid response. if you post a random question without any reasoning behind it people will think you're weird. asking why is always a good follow up because there may be a better solution in someone's head somewhere.

well part of my reasoning is i don't have a BFH, and my motors already installed.. i do have the mounting brackets... i've seen the h2b guys making these but i don't think they have made one yet for bseries.. trying to get ahead of the game.. maybe some aluminum brackets to original brackets and a small torque cylinder to keep tension? was thinking one of the bolt holes for the bottom cover or switch it around and mount the cylinder towards the front of nose possibly.. basic not expensive is the goal

I made a bracket setup for my drag car to run a 19v alternator up front. I'm commenting here so I remember to take pics later and share with you.
