I have owned my civic for about 9 years now. It has been through a few different transformations but it has had this setup for about 6 years now. I built this car to be strictly my street car. I drive it every week. I have only took it to the track maybe once a year. It does not even have a cage. It has a full interior up front but no rear seats or plastics. Mostly original captiva blue pearl paint. It is 100% rust free top to bottom! It has been garage kept ever since I've owned it and has only seen rain a few times. Body is not perfect although it is REALLY nice for its age. it does have some scratches, dings, fade spots.
I just rebuilt the engine with all new oem honda bearings, arias rings, all new gaskets, about 700 miles ago. The engine made 403whp and 310 ft lbs on a dynojet about 6 years ago. A lot of changes have been made such as exhaust, intake, etc so it should be more now but i have not dynoed it. It was originally tuned by SuprDave in chicago. I have been tuning it since. It runs 24psi in every gear and I only run Tracktek 111 octane gas for past 6 years (I get the gas at the pump a 1/2 mile from me for $6/gallon). I have driven this car many times hours away without a single problem and would trust it to drive anywhere. It still gets decent gas mileage if you stay out of it lol. I change the oil about every 1000 miles with brad penn 10w30 or 10w40 and I use syncromesh in the transmission. This car is turnkey and ready to go. It does not need a single thing!
