I like the car a lot. But, what's the real deal here?
OP says he is short of cash to finish the car due to 400K home purchase, yet he would consider a trade with S2K...? Something doesn't add up here.
I don't think many would be willing to pay this kind of cash for a 25 year old car that is not even guaranteed to run as is. K swap cars with similar mods go around 15K. Not hating, but trying to help OP to be more level-headed.

Thank you for the kind words everyone.
and J.B. nothing but the 'real deal' here. I've actually lost interest in having an S2000 as well. Only point I see of your whole post is I need to edit my original post... But I'm as level headed as they come, I just don't want the car anymore.
BTW, the car runs, drives does everything with a distributor on it. So it actually drives exactly 'as is described,' it is just un-tuned and is not safe to drive a $14,000 investment more than 30 minutes.

The suspension, cage, and wheels is easily $7k alone, another 2k for the AEM EMS. I have a time attack civic hatchback racecar and I know how much money i've poured (literally poured) into it over the years. Building a car to take racing that won't fall apart, break down, or kill you, is extremely expensive. This car has thousands and thousands of dollars into it. If I didn't already have my car i'd be all over this, it's a really good deal. GLWS

Sell ur AEM EMS, use the money for a Hondata + tune...probably easier to sell. Motor is relatively stock...why AEM anyways?

At the time, (year and a half ago) it was the only EMS for the car that had a CAN bus for the AIM dash and all the needed input/outputs I wanted for sensors... So you tell me....
