Default fs/ft: Boosted BMW e39 540i. Alot, alot invested. Needs a bit of work. going cheap.

Starting a new thread since my new selling points have totally changed, I hope that doesnt bother any one.

Alot of information about the car here, if you are truly interested I do recommend that you read it all, I will be as straight forward as possible about the car. Keep in mind the car will need to be towed in its current state. Engine is PERFECT, but the transmission will not allow it to move.

First and formost lets get the important stuff out of the way.

Ok lets get the PROBLEMS and THE BAD out of the way first:

1)Transmission has problems, forward gears are semi engaging, I have not had the money to have a REAL diagnosis. But the point is that there are transmission problems. So to any potential buyer i truly recomend you work that into your budget, i doubt it will need a FULL replacement. But hey you never know, and I dont want to screw any one over. Just bieng as straight forward as possible.

2) there are literally about 2 dings on the car, both very very small.

3) some scratches as paint is original, but honestly nothing big. And the paint is in AMAZING condition. These BMW oem paintjobs are amazingly durable.

4) Will need new tires, after the incident i took off the fresh tires it had and sold them to a buddy, its on some older tires that got about 20% thread left in the back and about 60% in the front.

5) car got the read passanger side window busted by some haters , one night.(don't worry found out who it was,Lets just say they ended up handing over more than they cost me in a window. Hey atleast their legs are still functional) Car is sitting in the garage now. So i havent replaced it, nor do i plan on doing so since i dont drive her.

Ok that just about covers all the negatives of this car.

She is a "project" but in all honesty the work needed isnt bad at all, specially once you read everything that you get with her.... yes continue reading.... and try not to drool.... maybe time to put a bib on?

let me just smack you in the face real fast with some eye candy.

You been doing quite a bit of reading up to this point, how about a picture and video break? Sounds good? yeah? ok, here it is.....

Picture sets : http://s783.photobucket.com/albums/y...shoot/?src=wap

and

http://s1225.photobucket.com/albums/...hnitzermobile/

and

Videos, everything from walkarounds to idling to pulls. enjoy:

Ok well I hope you enjoyed the pictures and videos.

Now the "good" and just the plain details.

She is a 1997 bmw 540i, clean title, registered, smogged (she passes smog legally), ready for a new owner in every sense of the work.

She has about 30k miles on the rebuild.

and around 130k on the chassis.

PSI: 7.0 (Stock: n/a)
HP: 410 (Stock: 282)
Torque: 395 (Stock: 310)

If we wanna talk part investment value that went into this car, we will be talking somewhere near the 30k+ mark, plus labor and lets not forget the recent couple grand that went into making the car smog legal with the exhaust set up.

The best of the best has been used in this car always, no shortcuts, no bs, all top notch quality parts. Not just quality stuff, but also extremely RARE. Good luck finding any of this original AC Schnitzer stuff any more.

Goddamn read view mirrors will run you a few grands, its stupidly expensive.

The car has a total ac schnitzer make over, all legit parts.

-AC SCHNITZER STUFF:

19in type II rims

rear bumper

side-skirts

rear spoiler

roof spoiler

e-brake handle

Exhaust

Rear-view mirrors

Springs

Just that right there, i challenge any potential buyer to look up the prices on all that crap and add it up (IF you can even find all of it)..... just that right there should be enough incentitive to want this thing.

And the rest of the mod list:
V.F Engineering Vortech supercharging kit, running at 7 psi. (can handle 9)

Brembo B.B.K for bmw e39

OEM m5 front bumper

also has a custom built sound system.

ipod ready, with deck integration and control.

All alpine stuff. one 10 in sub in the trunk in a custom

fiberglass,wood setup.

I got this wierd earie feeling that im missing quite a bit of stuff.

If anything comes back to me ill add ir, or any questions please feel free to ask.

If i was to set a price when she was in perfect running order i would say shes easily worth around $17,000. BUT SHE ISNT PERFECT! she needs work.

I will be considering cash offers, what ever they are, shoot them at me. We can work something out, since i am more than willing to keep parts. To be honest it PAINS me to let go of all this acs stuff finding it again will be impossible.

Also trades (try me, ANYTHING i want a breath of fresh air, might even consider bikes) will be considered, and trades plus cash.

Not in TOO much of a rush any more, since i did aquire a new daily.

She will be sitting in the garage, since i do not plan on fixing her any time soon. With school in the way i have too many expenses to fix her as much as i want to.

That bieng said I much rather have some one else pick her up and enjoy her.

She is truly an amazing car.

Extremely comfortable! every bmw feature works as it should.

Extremely relaible (she honestly NEVER let me down, until the freak trans accident)

Extremely quick, she got torque to share with the world. And never stops pulling.

And you can sip your coffe while you cruise.

What else do you want?

This thing is like a V.I.P car that doesnt perform like ****.

Honestly the best of both world.

So please, any questions or concern direct them to me via PM.

I will answer as soon as possible.

If you are to make trade offers, i would truly appreciate it if you could include a mod list and pictures to your message.

So who wants an awesome project?

About to let her go for pretty cheap.

If you been thinking about making a cash or trade offer speak up.

Im kinda determined to get rid of her and free up the room and money.

thanks,

Gus

oh yeah man shes fast.
I never ran her hard.

But i did kill a s52 swapped e 30, and a twin turbo g35 once..... good times.

And hey man buy her ill drop her off at your shop of choice, and when your back from afgh you got a running AMAZING 540i.

Now as far as price goes... cash money.
I was looking for 15k when she was perfect.
So shoot stuff around the 9,10,11,12s who knows... add stuff on top to compensate for money as well, im willing to listen.

More than anything i want a really nice trade, something turnkey ready to go, and if daily drivable the better.

Pending a few offers. Finally got some stuff im actually interested in offered.

But well she is still here... for now.

ttt, and feel free to make offers looking to get something done in the next few weeks for sure.

Thanks,

Gus

Man, cant believe this is still for sale, I would definitely consider buying and partin it out, i want your bbk and maybe all the acs bits including wheels. Would you consider trading the bbk for my stock m5 brakes plus cash?
