FS: 96 Civic Ek hatch lsvtec CLEAN
For sale is my 1996 civic ek hatchback
Roma Red
101,XXX miles on cluster, 26,XXX on the swap.
(Previous owner had originally done an LS swap with gsr tranny with the intentions to boost it, but couldn't get enough money for a turbo set up so he swapped the head with a b16a2 after his buddy totaled his SI. The b16 head was put on at 75k. I've owned the car since 93k)
Timing belt, water pump, and clutch replaced at 75k ( OEM GSR)
Valve seals and retainers replaced at 75k (OEM B16)
New starter at 80k
New distributor at 90k
Spark plugs, valve cover gasket, and PCV valve replaced around 97k
Front brakes (calipers, pads and rotors,) replaced around 95k
Converted to disk back breaks which were replaced (calipers, rotors, pads,) around 95k
New tires about one year old. Still good tred left on them

4-2-1 Header to full 2.5' custom exhaust with dynomax muffler. DOES NOT SOUND RICEY!!
Obd1 p28 ecu.
Leaks a bit of oil due to bad cam seal. Nothing major, never gave me any problems.
Oil changed every 3k
This car is daily driven and miles will continue to rise slowly. This has been my baby, never beaten on. I get complements on how clean this car is all of the time. Very well taken care of. Reason for selling is because I want something different, it's been fun and I've enjoyed the car very much but Hondas are just not for me. Will also come with white fog lights with black housing and 2000 cloth SI front seats
Also, on 11/17/13 I was backed in to while I was parked at work. Only a little scuff on the back bumper. It is going in to the shop on 1/20/14 and I will have it back within a day or two.
EDIT: I just got the car back today. Looks perfect you can't even tell there was any damage
$5500 price is negotiable NEED THIS GONE! NO TRADES
