Default FS: 1995 Turbo Honda Accord Coupe 5 spd

SOLD

Up for sale is my 1995 Honda Accord EX. It is painted in the original dark green color (almost looks black), which was only available on EX models. Rare 5-spd coupe model. 172,6xx miles
I have owned the car since 2002.
The Good:
The car is extremely reliable and always starts right up. I am an Engineer by trade, and installed the turbo kit around 2007. This is not some cheap, ebay turbo kit from china. I wanted a very reliable, moderate increase in power, while still looking like a stock car. The turbo, blow-off valve, intercooler and injectors are all various OEM parts. I have never had a single issue with any of the turbo parts.
Engine runs great. Transmission shifts very smooth with no grinding at all. All the electrics work great.
Interior is in very nice shape. The rest of the body is in very good shape. Almost no rust anywhere on the body (only a couple hardly noticable paint bubbles, and a small dent on the lower passenger door). The typical door dings and scratches, but overall is in very good condition for its age.

Water pump and timing belt have been replaced.
New OEM mls headgasket was installed with ARP headstuds in support of the turbo. The headgasket that was removed was in perfect shape, it was just replaced as preventative maintenance.
The F22B1 2.2 liter VTEC engine comes with a very low compression ratio (9.2:1) from the factory, so the rest of the engine is stock.
Brand new battery
KYB AGX adjustable struts at all 4 corners, supported by Eibach springs
Front and rear strut tower brace
ACT full face clutch. Has a very firm pedal feel, but you get used to it very quickly. It never slips
SFP (Southern Florida Performance) tubular exhaust manifold
Adjustable shift light installed in dash by other warning lights
Tial 38mm wastegate with 7psi spring - currently not boost controler is installed, but it was running 12psi for a few years
Turbo is from the late 80's Ford Thunderbird -- water and oil cooled
I only used 93 octane gas
Full 3" exhaust. I had a performance muffler installed, but went back to the OEM muffler to keep the noise down. Unfortunately, the stock muffler significantly reduced power. It's 3" right up to where the stock muffler bolts on, approximately by the rear tire.
K&N air filter
Intercooler from an Isuzu NPR (painted black)
Blow off valve from a gen 1 Mitsubishi eclipse -- not crushed Injectors 450 cc/min also from a gen 1 Mitsubishi eclipse
AEM fuel pressure regulator
Fuel pressure gauge installed on fuel rail
Electronic Prosport boost gage installed on steering wheel column. Has peak recall function and a neat "opening ceremony" where the needle does a full sweep
Tuning via CROME
There is a switch discretely installed in the dash to change the engine tune (operates a Moates 2timer). A "valet" mode which has a low rev limiter and does not engage VTEC (great on gas mileage!), and also a more performance orientated tune. The valet mode was dyno tuned before I had the FPR, so i had them tune it for economy. Never went on the dyno with the performance tune. Got it from a forum member with a similar setup.
I have never been back to the dyno, but with a less restrictive muffler and a slight re-tune, 260 whp would be easy to achieve with no other hardware modifications.

Short shifter
Functional engine start button from Honda S2000
Very nice Alpine CDA-9815 stereo, has a tilting face and dot matrix display - with true ipod control, connector is in the center armrest
OEM Fog Lights
Power windows
Power Locks
Power sunroof
Power mirrors
Cruise control
Air Conditioning
ABS Dual front airbags
Clean Title in hand

The Bad:
Unfortunately, on my way to work one morning (October of 2011), I rear ended another car. Not a serious accident by any means, it was only about 10mph. The front end is not perfect, the hood has been replace with a junkyard part that is black and the bumper has some scratches and a small hole. The front tip of the DS fender is bent. The mounting bracket for the driver side turn signal cracked off and should be replaced. The hood still opens and closes easily. Its not perfect, but as you can tell from the pictures, its really not that bad either. Front windshield is cracked(unrelated to the accident). Pictures are of the car currently, so as you can see the front end isn't too bad at all.
Car is currently unregistered with expired tags.

Test drives are fine around the neighborhood, but I'm not willing to let you drive it on the street.

Additional pictures availible on request
