FS: 02 Lexus IS300 w/LS1 swap 6 speed/706 Heads, ARP etc
02 Lexus IS300
-2002 Corvette Engine 5.7 LS1
-2002 Camaro SS T56 tranny (freshly built) low miles since build
-Fresh 706 5.3 heads, way better flowing heads than stock ls1, MLS head gaskets, ARP head bolts, Howard's upgraded Beehive valve springs (done 4/1/15 at shop that does nothing but LS engine builds)
-Not even 300 miles on new set up, haven't even gotten to enjoy the new set up like I want to, running like a champ!, a buddy that has a car I wanted for a while finally decided to sell it to me so at the moment im motivated to sell my baby, but by the same token im not going to give it away
-Toyota Supra LSD installed August 2014, had new bearings and all that good stuff replaced inside the diff before install along with fresh fluids.
-Stage 3 Monster clutch/ lightweight flywheel installed when tranny was installed
-1 piece driveshaft est for 1000hp,
-Working ABS
-Dakota digital rpm signal convertor
-v-band, 3" custom magnaflow exhaust(sounds sexologically MEAN AF!!!!!!!!!) gets lots of compliments from all types of random people
-Car has power steering, heat, AC lines are mated together, just gotta recharge system
-Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator, -8 fuel feed line, -6 return, black fittings,
, Mishimoto Radiator, Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump, Oil Catch Can, professionally done engine wiring and tuning, etc. (full details will be disclosed to potential buyers)
point is: car has lots of money and time dumped into it, it was built right, very clean install, clean title, never been in accident, very clean body, car freaking shines after i wash it. VERY reliable car, that's not something you can say about most swapped cars.
The car is not my DD, it's my weekend car, but i have taken it on a roadtrip, 11 hours of straight driving, 0 issues. The car isVERY, VERY fun to drive, sound super nice,
I have taken corners in this car at speeds that you could only dream about in corvettes/Camaro/gto/ws6, mostly because of the power to weight ratio of the car, it's way lighter than a corvette/camaro/gto/ws6. If for any reason you would want more power you can easily add an aftermarket cam, long tubes and a re tune, and that's before turbo or SC. The car is very practical because it's a 4 door, and is very much a sleeper, it looks like your average is300 out on the road, it's a wolf in sheeps clothing
*****you will not understand the niceness of this car until you have driven a 6 speed ls1 car, this car is no joke, it will push you into your seat, the low end torque is very nice.
PRICE: $15k obo
please understand that i do not have to sell this car, i am simply testing waters, I have another car for sale, hopefully the other car sell and i can keep this one because i know i will not find a car like this one. Please SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, DO NOT WASTE MY TIME!!!!!!!!!!im not really looking for trades

Re: FS: 02 Lexus IS300 w/LS1 swap 6 speed/706 Heads, ARP etc
two questions...
first off, I am moving to florida and a/c is necessary...have you done the simple recharge of the system yet so that you can say it has working a/c?
if not, it may help you sell the car faster...
secondly, I'm must a tad confused and wanted to clear up the part where you say it has less than 300 miles on the set up...but that the set up is very reliable as you have driven it on a road trip over 11 hrs?
I'm interested in the car, and have cash...but those two things worry me

Guessing maybe you mean 300 miles on the new setup with the 706 heads and overall minor freshening up?

Damn, thing looks like a blast! Those 706's are a good upgrade for stock LS1's. Gives a little bump in compression and they flow decent. Would love to run that thing lol. We have a customer with a LS 89 RX7; stock LS6 shortblock, ported/milled 243 heads, Lunati cam, T56 etc. Thing is a beast and your right about that low/mid range thrust! Good luck with the sale man!

sorry guys, I don't get on here often, I don't need another car, unless it's substantial cash, I need to free up some funds, i recently swapped out from tan to black interior, the interior i got from the donor car was pretty clean but still had it shampooed and thoroughly cleaned before i installed it

Less than 300 on the head swap. I drove it when it had the stock ls1, i drove it for two weeks a few weeks back so it has a tad bit more miles, but still have a ton left in it.
