I just don't think you have seen a stamp that close before ... an attempt to remove a 1 is pointless and would've have looked crappy ... Im not sure where you are going with this but even if I did shaved off the 1 what good would that do me ? A B series is a B series

I can kinda see the 1 imprint there... interesting.
I have a JDM B18C in my 97 EX, I will have to look at it to see if mine looks like that.
free bump for a fellow B18C lol

Hmm.. I bought the car used so I myself did not attempt to shave the block which would be pointless ....A quick glance when I bought the car and assumed it was JDM ... I will price accordingly if proven wrong by future buyers ...thank you everyone

I figured as much. You'd be ballsy to do the swap and say its a B18C and post that picture lol. Damn dude... that sucks! Still a good motor though with what a 10hp difference?

Right .. Maybe 8... If block is shaved someone did a good job and is a waste of time ... If you do get a pic and its a close up post for me .. I am in no way trying to pass this off as a JDM Gsr to make "extra" money JDM or USDM the car would still sale for close to the asking price ... I bought the SI because it's clean and I always wanted one ... Never thought twice about the motor being stamped B18C1 because the car pulls hard .... Car is still for sale and any potential buyers can discuss this issue ... Thanks again
