I'm posting this for a friend, but I'm vouching for him as legit. I've been on here long enough to be "legit", I think. I've known Eric for 19 years now and we're both 41 (i.e. not kids).

I'll vouch for the car as I detailed it last year and it was mint. Before you try to lowball, factor in that you don't have to repair any rust, repaint or restore anything on it. This thing is a unicorn in the Northeast. That said, here's his description. The number is google voice. He's already dealt with the typical CL flakes/lowballers so now I'm helping him out here.

Extremely clean 2000 EK DX hatchback 5-spd with low miles (107k). This adult-owned car has been meticulously cared for and garage kept its whole life. All servicing has been done on time and the car runs great. Has never been modified other than the non-stock (though still OEM Honda) wheels pictured. Timing belt (along with all others) replaced in 2008. Strong A/C. Still gets 38mi/gal on the highway. No rust. Everything works. Tires have plenty of tread left. He's getting lowballed because the asking price is just way to high. I get that it's a awesome stock 00 ek, but $5500 is a little steep. That's almost double the price of kbb value. GLWS though.

I think that 5500 is a very reasonable price for this! Very hard to find in this condition and not destroyed by idiots. Glws sir!

Not really man. $5500 is not a bad asking price considering the condition and how rare something like this is becoming.

Also - it's kind of dumb to use the kbb thing since banks use NADA.

Additionally, I wish this car was closer to me.
