'97 Built Civic EX. Candy Red. Project Car. Cheap.
Because of big life changes, the time has come to sell my project drag car.
This car has been in my family since July 17, 1999 and has been taken care of meticulously throughout.
In its peak, it made 290whp on a DynoJet using the same motor that is in the car today, assembled by PER Race Engines out of Plainfield.
In late 2005 I bought an Evolution, removed the turbo kit and gave the car to my sister. Earlier this year, my sister bought a new civic and gave the title back to me. Given that I already had a great daily driver, I decided to make this civic into a full drag car using my spare time.
At this point, I made a life changing decision to go back to school downtown Chicago. This car has been sitting in my heated garage ever since, collecting dust.
Although I am never on the forums anymore, I can find many members who will vouch for me.
I will deliver the car within 100 miles for free.

To be honest, I could talk about this car for pages and pages. It really cuts me deep to sell it, but I cannot have it in my garage for the next few years which with the amount of free time I have, (almost none) is what it will take to complete this project. This could easily be a great drag car or street car. It’s beautiful and is a great foundation on which to build.
