1994 Civic Coupe Track Day Car
1994 Honda Civic Coupe Street/Track Car B18C1 $6,000 obo
This car was used primarily as a weekend/track day car, so some parts are not ideal for daily driving. Body was repainted in 2008 Porsche Boxter Metallic Black with minor chips/damage from approximately 8 track days at Summit Point, but overall great body and paint. Interior is stripped and outfitted with a fully welded-in roll cage and bulkhead that was a graduation projection for a WyoTech Student in their welding program. 55 feet of 1.5"x.12" DOM tubing used to make the cage (per NASA specs) However, the welded-in door bars were removed while factory door panels and crash bars remain in place for easy entry/exit as well as obtaining PA state inspection. If planning to race this car, new door bars will need welded-in along with other possible modifications to meet specific sanctioning body requirements. Although this car was never raced competitively, most upgrades were aimed toward a NASA Honda Challenge H2 car . Engine/Transmission/Suspension/Brakes are from a 94 Integra GSR with a fresh rebuild with less than 20 track hours. Car is an absolute blast to drive, very predictable, powertrain is bulletproof, and (most-importantly) is extremely safe. I used the car to get my feet wet in road racing, but have moved on to Vintage Racing, and this car just sits in my garage, begging to be driven.
Drivetrain (Tuned by Vince at R/T Tuning at 190whp 9000rpm safe, dyno sheets included):
• B18C1 Block and Ported Head
• OBD1 P28 socketed ECU tuned w/ Hondata S200
• Professionally Machined, Balanced, Blueprinted, and Built by local engine shop in 2009
• Integra Type R Rods
• Bored .5mm over with OEM B16 pistons (approx. 12:1 compression, pump gas OK)
• Hasport Motor Mounts
• Custom Grind Cam with specs very similar to OEM ITR cam (mild, reliable, and drivable)
• Skunk2 titanium valve springs and retainers
• Skunk2 Intake Manifold
• RC440cc Fuel Injectors
• DC 2.5 inch 4-1 Header
• Custom turn-down race exhaust (NO cat, NO muffler, VERY loud, but GREAT sound)
• OEM Integra GSR tranny with Integra Type-R LSD and new OEM axels
• MFactory Oil Cooler and Remote Filter Kit
• Moroso Oil Accumulator
• Moroso Baffled Road Race Oil Pan
• KOYO Aluminum Radiator
Chassis/Suspension:
• Full Intergra GSR Suspension and Brake swap
• Mugen Trailing Arm Bushings
• Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushing Kit
• Suspension Techniques Rear Sway Bar and Sub-Frame Brace

• Track alignment and corner-weighted (2132 lbs w/o driver)

• Summit Racing 10 gal Fuel Cell in truck (oem tank removed) with in-line fuel pump
• Optima Yellow-top battery in Truck with kill-switch on rear bumper.

• Civic Si Gauge cluster
• Autometer Tach w/ shift light
• Autometer Water Temp, Oil Temp, and Oil Pressure gauges in radio location (car has no stereo)
• Corbeau Seats with Simpson 5-point belts. (seats mounted far back and low for a 6’4” 300lb guy, but able to be remounted in stock location for average sized driver)
• Halon fire suppression system with 2 outlets (above driver and engine bay)
• Sparco Suede Flat-Bottom Steering wheel.
