1992 Honda Civic EG Hatch JDM B18C 98 Spec 210whp Clean Title Root Beer Metallic
I am selling my 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback. At one point it was a magazine cover car, owned by a friend of mine that built it over a long time, it was turbo back then and has been turbo with me before. However right now it has a 98 spec JDM B18C NA motor that is extremely fun to drive and very quick.
It was fully taken down to the shell and built up from there with a lot of really high end JDM and aftermarket parts. It is painted a custom color, but it is a great color choice. It is a root beer metallic color from Infiniti and the entire car was painted, interior and engine bay.
It would literally take forever to sit down and write down everything done, but here are the big ones:
Engine:
98 Spec JDM ITR engine and transmission
Crower Stage 2 cams and full valvetrain
Head taken off and fully redone at engine shop, bottom end bone stock but was checked
PLM Header
Skunk2 Pro IM
Omnipower Throttle body
Hondata S300 V3 Bluetooth
Hondata Coil pack retrofit (no distributor, converted to coil on plug)
Makes 210-220hp at the wheels, dyno tuned
Exedy Stage 1 clutch and flywheel
Polyurethane motor mounts
Full 3" exhaust out the back, setup for turbo car but great for my current NA setup, has 3" cat and passes emissions
Custom Intake
AEM fuel rail with 350cc high impedance Bosch injectors
Brand new Neukin aluminum radiator and fan combo
Was turbo car so setup with large fuel feed lines, inline Aeromotive fuel filter and regulator, and 2 Walbro 255's in the tank, fuel system can handle lots of power
Chassis:
New polyurethane bushings everywhere
D2 coilovers
Eibach sway bars front and rear
Full integra brake setup and subframes, including integra power steering rack for faster ratio, power steering is functional and working
Drilled slotted rotors
ARP extended wheel studs
D2 rear upper and lower control arms
Skunk2 front upper control arms with camber adjustment, performance alignment just done at Cobb Tuning
15x7 +20 TR motorsports very light wheels
Dunlop Direzza Z2 tires, 195/50r15, almost brand new
Body:
Seibon carbon fiber hood
Seibon carbon fiber hatch
SiR front lip painted
JDM power folding mirrors
JDM glass headlights with HID kit
Clear corners
JDM foglights
Cusco front and rear license plate mounts
Interior:
Power windows and locks, however locks need some work
Several interior plastic pieces sanded and painted body color
Dash is in excellent shape, carpet is the only bad part
Stripped behind front seats except for panels
Mugen pedal set
Short shifter
Type R red center console
CTR Recaro seats (currently on real Recaro seat rails, lower than stock, dual locking)
Momo steering wheel, horn works
GReddy boost and oil pressure gauge on the pod
AEM wide band in the dash
Car is fully setup for AC with everything there and ready to go, compressor needs to be reinstalled and filled, was taken off when turbo, worked perfect before
JDM SiR cluster with programmable shift light
Built into the dash Greddy Profec B-SpecII Boost Controller
Door panels are in great shape covered in Type R fabric as you can see in the pictures
Bolt in Cusco Roll Bar
I am sure I am forgetting many things. This car was built extensively over the years and changed a few times. It has current registration and inspection, and like I said just passed emissions. Being a 92, this is the last time it will have to pass emission in TX.
With the massive fuel system, large 3" exhaust, and the Hondata s300 V3 and Coil Pack Retrofit kit, it would be a great and easy setup to go back to a big power turbo car. Bumper is already setup for a large intercooler as well. In its current setup however it handles fantastic and the engine is very fun to drive, very powerful for an NA car with the excellent gearing and low weight. No rubbing at all.
It has history and is a very clean EG hatch, which is getting next to impossible to find.
I included a few pictures of the car when it was in some magazines.
Feel free to call, text or email with any questions or to come setup a time to see it

Re: 1992 Honda Civic EG Hatch JDM B18C 98 Spec 210whp Clean Title Root Beer Metallic
Thanks! The price is definitely negotiable, that was more the craigslist price than anything. I just want to make sure people are serious, but definitely open to offers.
