1991 Honda Civic Hatchback 4 Speed 1.5L
SOLD
1991 Honda Civic
You’re viewing a 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback for sale. It comes with a 4 speed 1.5L engine, manual windows with no power steering. The vehicle was originally from Jacksonville Florida (Orange Park) and was an inner city means of transportation hence the low mileage on this 24 year old car, since then the car has been my daily driver. The car odometer read 96k when the ownership was transferred to me. The car has been up and down the East Coast mainly Jacksonville to Raleigh. $22 dollars on 87 octane gets me a full tank at 350-360 highway miles and 320-335 around town. Under my ownership the car has gone through an extensive maintenances paying off greatly. (Documentation available)
NEW PRICE AS OF 08MAY15 $2700
Repairs
Timing belt & water pump replaced at 104K
Front calipers, rotors and pads replaced at 104K
Exhaust replaced at 104K
Distributor’s cap, rotor and seal replaced at 104K
Windshield replaced at 98K
Spark plugs & wires replaced at 98K
A/C freon refilled 1lbs (no leaks but needs compressor)
Hatchback Struts replaced
All maintenance was performed by a certified Honda mechanic, somethings in Jacksonville FL and others in Durham NC. Tire thread stands around 50% of life. The pictures give you a better understanding of the paint with fades around the upper portion of the vehicle with minimal surface rust around the doors. The driver side fender was replaced due to the original owner hitting a gas station poll. In the week of replacing, a truck backed into me damaging the fender with his hitch. The A/C compressor was serviced and filled to maximum capacity and ran well for three months. After reevaluating by my mechanic, finding no leaks or other issues a compressor replacement was recommended. Also, the car has no stereo. Apparently, someone roaming my neighborhood enjoys music more then I do? The positive side, the car wasn’t damage and they were kind enough to unplugged the harness from the radio.
The car is being sold due to personal medical problems. The plans were to restore it, being a great platform due to the lack of modern day modification. I enjoy classic cars and this one was on its way, I hope it continues in that path. For any question or concerns please call or text at 919-805-0883. Thanks for looking and enjoy!
