Default 1979 Honda Civic CVCC...

Testing waters here:

Car: 1979 Honda Civic CVCC
Engine: 1979 Honda Accord EK-1 1.8L
Transmission: 5 speed
VIN: SG-C500XXXX
Price I'm starting at: $2,000, this will be pretty negotiable, but you can see the work that has been done on the car in just the body alone.

The engine is very strong and pulls the car well. It's been in the car for about 15 months and still moving very nicely. I will be looking at the car (if it isn't sold by then) this weekend as I have a short in the wire that runs from the alternator to the harness in the dash. This is from when I put in the new dash, I believe I pinched a wire behind a bolt and it is shorting out the main fuse. The transmission has no issues as well. As far as I can tell, there may be a slight, slight oil leak, but I don't ever have to add oil. It's that minute. No radiator leaks and the car does not run hot. The pictures will tell more of the story of the car. I've installed a used, but very good condition, dash to replace the busted up old one, and have the factory AM/FM radio in as well. The radio isn't hooked up, though. The interior really only needs floor carpet and the seats redone to be complete. The exterior pretty much needs to be finished painting. As you'll see in the pics, I had the old paint completely removed and started from the metal up. Rust work/prevention was done. The bumpers were also tucked in closer to the body. I've got a brand new set of 12" trim rings to go along with the 6 month old rings that are on the car now (which are still in new shape). The fender mirrors will stay with the car. The body is basically straight. There are a few "parking lot" dings in the car that weren't taken care of at the time. They are nothing major and not very noticeable at all. It's at the stage where it is ready for final paint. Only other problem is the car is missing the rear hatch seal, so it does get water in it if sitting in heavy rain. If you've seen the car, then you know how it is off camera. I even included the pics of the rust areas to show the before and after. So there you go. I'll see how this goes and we'll go from there.

Here are the pics:
