Hard time shifting
95 gsr hydro trans.
So for the longest time my trans was really rough to shift. I recently installed syncrotech's kit, and put the trans together. I couldn't get the c clip to seat and ended up breaking the case. No sweat, get a new case and upon inspection, my gear change mechanism is kinda bent, so i replace that, the interlock. Finally i assemble the trans, and once again the case doesnt go together easy( from all the videos and other trans its really hard to get hte case down the last 1/2"). I have to wiggle the shift fork, but it goes together. Now once together the side to side action (moving between shift forks only goes to the 1-2 side no the 5-r side. I pull it again and the play between the 3-4 fork and the gear selector is exactly .020, where spec is under .020.
Cliffs, replaced everything in my trans but shift forks, still doesn't shift smooth, is there any easy way to tell if a fork is bad, i dont mind buying new ones, but unless im sure its kinda hard to dish out another 200 bean.
TIA
