Check the transmission fluid level.

When did this problem start?

What is your Engine block code?

Is your D4 or check engine lamp on? It should be given your symptoms.

The 4th gear drum cracking is common on the D16Y7, which will lead to little or any acceleration.

Does the tach move while the slipping occurs? If so you should have a slip code relating to 3rd or 4th gear, possibly the TCC system.

Late shifts in all gears generally relates to the oil pump output, meaning poor volume, or a restricted filter element. Something central at the least.
