Transmission fluid for KAAZ Clutch type LSD
I have put a KAAZ clutch type LSD in my 93 DC2 GSR..
Last time i use Redline 75W90 NS manul transmission fluid and go for trackday.
Chatter noise are very large and after 3 section, i found the gear shifting is very bad...
After this i replace them to Valvoline Syn Power fully synthetic fluid. The Chatter noise are reduce. But is it suitable for this LSD??
Any fluid suggestion for this LSD if i keep going for trackday with this? Thank You.

Re: Transmission fluid for KAAZ Clutch type LSD
i want to see is there any alternative apart from KAAZ one. KAAZ fluid is a bit expensive here.
What's the use of friction modifier? Haven't heard people using this here. Is that only to reduce the chatter noise or can also reduce the friction of the clutch plate? THX

Re: Transmission fluid for KAAZ Clutch type LSD
personally i use valvoline 80W-90 gear oil with a friction modifier. it works great as a alternative to KAAZ fluid in my ATS 1.5 way clutch type lsd. both are typically available at local autoparts store.
the friction modifier helps the diff not to clunk so much. i have seen drastic improvements by using it for daily driving on a clutch type lsd.

Np, with how cheap the fluid is, I dont see a problem changing it out every spring. That's my plan. Beem running it less than a year now but can let u know how it performs my track weekend labor day weekend.
