Default j1 or s1 4.4 fd in my y1 tranny???

i have a Y1 tranns with oem lsd on my built b20v and after 3 years of abuse it finally starting to grind 3rd bad and 4th..im planning on doin a full rebuild on it and i wanted to ask if i can fit 4.4 fd frm either a S1 or J1 tranny casue the Y1 comes 4.2 and i have buddy who has both trannys for sale for parts and im not sure if it will even work....now i personally have a legit 93 ys1 gsr trans that i have on the side for at least 3 or 4 years with also a bad 3 and bad input shaft play..now in reality what would be better for quater mile racing Y1 with the 4.4 vs ys1 stock?? i would put in a lsd in ys1 if i uesd it...but main question is what 4.4 final drive will fit in a y1 trans j1 or s1????

You can use the 90-91 4.40 FD, I think I have one already pulled from a tranny.
