hey, So im fixing up my 4 door EG and i have it torn apart and I would like to take it to get it painted without a motor or trans. The problem is i have brand new wheel bearings i just pressed in. My brother is telling me we need to find some junk cv axles so that the races dont come apart while towing it? i cant seem to find anyone in my area who want to give any away. is their another solution? could i take a 1/2" bolt with fender washers?

Yes you either need outer axle cups to tighten it up or some sort of solid washer and bolt setup.

Ok thank you. I might have to do the washer and bolt trick because I can't seem to find junk axles
