S80(gsr) oem fearing w/ handcuff question.
My question is... If I use the stock s80 tranny and gears with LSD/spool, then add a handcuff, Would I have enough gearing for the 1/4 mile, if shift in the range of 9-9.5k rpm?
Sorry for the misspell in the title iPhones suck.
ok correction.. power level is 500-550whp around 17-20psi
tire size is 24.5
weight around 2200 or so.

With no idea on your power level, weight of vehicle, and tire size, there is NO way for anyone here to help you answer that.

Word.
Well, without being able to EXACTLY calculate tire growth into the equation quickly, the GSR 4th will run out to 144 mph with that setup @ 9000 rpm. Which should be plenty for that power-to-weight. 152 mph possible in 4th at 9500 rpm. I'd imagine you'll trap somewhere in the mid- 130 mph range - possibly more if that 2200 lbs is WITH driver. LOL You could probably pull off a B16 3rd and 4th if you really wanted to, but the GSR will definitely work out just fine.
