Popping out of gear cause?

What causes a transmission to pop out of gear? Mine only pops out of 2nd. The fluid level is right where it should be. And was recently changed. Am I going to need a rebuild?

its either a bad gear, synchro, hub and slider or a bent shift fork or both.

Popping out of gear is usually caused from worn engagement teeth on the sleeve and gear but I have also seen the top C/S bearing cause this. When the bearing gets worn, It allows the shaft to move up and down. I always replace the clip in the case too during a rebuild.
