Default M2B4 Transmission

Hello I have one of those m2b4 tranny's that came with lsd but now my lsd is bad so I ordered an new obx lsd but the speed gear is too big for the new lsd. I heard that you can't put the obx lsd in the jdm tranny is that True? if so can I use a f22 accord tranny and swap all of my h22 gears and the obx lsd over to the f22 tranny. Thanks in advance I really just want some insight on what my options are

The B4 case is wider to accommodate the "taller" JDM OEM LSD. You can (Ive heard of people doing it) reshim the case to put the OBX in it, but its ****ed as you have to shim the **** out of it. Dont do it. Put it all in the F case, as long as the F case is a 92/33 or newer case it should work. The 90-91 uses a smaller counter and bearing and wont work. Dnt waste your time trying.

What happened to the B4 LSD? They dont really go "bad" pics?

The final drive gear off the JDM B4 tranny is NOT going to work with the OBX diff. Speed gear is the same IIRC. I KNOW for a fact the OD is the same just cant remember whats up on the internal. I have a USDM speed gear if you need it.

You WILLL NEED a NON LSD FINAL DRIVE RING GEAR (JDM A4 OR any USDM BESIDES ATTS).

ATTS trans uses the exact same ring gear as the JDM LSD, but thats it The diff is not the same.

Hope that helps, and if you have any questions pm me your number Ill shoot you a call.
