Default Help

I'm doing an h22 swap to my 94 stick accord. Problem: the engine was on automatic transmission I have stick. I know the F and H series are compatible but will it matter if the H was automatic ?

Yes, the passenger side engine mount bracket welded to the frame rail is wrong... you will need to purchase the original weld-on bracket for a manual transmission car and have it welded on... after removing the spot welds and prying off the original one. A splash of paint rounds out the fix. You will also need to use a manual trans bracket.

Mine is already manual. Your talking about the mount brackets on the actual engine correct? The engine I wanna put in my accord is auto but I'm hoping if I do have to convert the engine to manual it won't be a pain in my ***

Swap the flywheel and clutch to the new engine and you should be good to go.

That's if you're using the manual trans too

If you're doing what I think you are. Manual chassis, manual trans, auto engine
