clutch bleeding issues
i have replaced my cmc, slave, and hard lines. I am in the process of bleeding the system but I have a huge problem. No, and i mean no fluid is being pumped by the cmc (clutch master cylinder). I feel no air pushed through the bleeder nipple and the fluid level in the resivoir is certainly not decreasing when I try to 2 man bleed the system or one man for that matter.
I think I bench bled my cmc but its my first time doing it and the instructions were for a brake master cylinder not a cmc.
This is the second cmc i've tried so ITS NOT the cmc or the slave. No holes in the hard lines, and no leaks anywhere!
I'm dumbfounded with the crap and I'm considering hari kari, so please help!!!

Re: clutch bleeding issues (autoxthis)
so theres no holes in the hard lines, and uve changed that out so there can't be a clog. hwen you installed the cmc is the pedal adjusted to put enough force on the lever?
i had an issue where it pushed the pedal down but it wasnt pushing the lever

Bleeding the clutch hydros can be a pain.
I always use a Vacuula(syphon feed bleeder), even that doesn't do a perfect job.
Fill up resevoir
Pump pedal by hand a few times(leave pedal in up position)
loosen bleeder for a couple second and tighten.
Keep repeating until you get some fluid coming out.
Sometimes gravity bleeding works great too- just open the bleeder and let gravity do its job!

Re: clutch bleeding issues (Evs-One)
I had this same issue .
Try this..
pump clutch pedal 4 times and HOLD it to the floor.
Have a helper crack the bleeder ... bleed .. then tight..
repeat.
after a few times you should notice there is now fluid geting pushed.. you just have to complete the bleed.
I pump 4 times.. Hold.. Bleed...
I also have my bleeder submerged in brake fluid... using a vacuum line off the bleeder into a small cup.
This method will make sure no air gets returned up the bleeder..
I hope this helps.
