Default B Series Final Drive Gear Teeth

Hi,

I'm facing an odd one - I have just bought a b series lsd diff supposedly being a 4.7 fd lsd from a 98spec s80 however the final drive ring gear is 62 teeth and I can't for the life of me identify it.

As you can see from the attached pic, the final drive seems oem.

ring gear & diff

According to H/T and a couple other sources, b series fd ring gears are either 64 (4.2), 66 (4.4) or 67 tooth (4.7).

I can't seem to find anything on the net about a 62 tooth ring gear.

Any ideas?

Thanks
