Default 2000 Integ. LS Trans. Slipping???

My 2000 LS Transmission is slipping. When I turn the car on it will shift into drive after starting it up like 3 times after warming the car up. When it finally moves I can drive it for about 1-2 minutes and then it starts to slip after I slow down or stop at a light or stop sign. It won't move at all and I have to turn of the car for one to two minutes and then start it back up and it will pull off normally again only for about 30 to 45 seconds and then it starts to act up if I stop at a stop sign or light again. Even if I slow down under 20 to 25 and then try to give it gas it starts to slip and sometimes not move at all. It does this over and over again till I get back home. It drives for a minute or two. Then I have to cut the car off and let it sit for about 2 to 3 minutes before It lets the car move normally. Then it starts to slip and not move again. I stop and let it sit for 2-3 minutes and then it goes. I'm confused. I need help. Never had this problem. There is fluid in the trans. So its not that.

Check the condition of the fluid. If it is dark and smells burnt...your transmission may need a rebuild. Any codes?
