Lesson learned: use Honda trans. fluid.
I have an 06 Civic auto. trans. I had serviced the trans. with Mobil 1 syn. I was unaware that Honda requires the use of their fluid. My trans. was not shifting correctly and believe it or not, it felt like my tires were out of balance. I added this additive they sell at Advance they say is for Honda's. Didn't help. I completely flushed the trans. and put in the Honda trans. fluid. Actually serviced it three times to flush any remains of the non Honda trans. fluid. Shifts great now and no vibration on the highway.
