window motor brushes for integra
has anyone found replacement brushes for integra window motor? 94-01
i had my window stuck and took apart the motor
turns out the tard neglected the problem for a while
a button was sticky and eventually melted and stuck in down position. so whenever its plugged in the window rolls down and keeps buzzing
motor brushes burnt out and got stuck lost contact
so i broke them loose and cleaned out the gunk
now the motor works and window rolled down
they are pretty low and not expecting them to last long
they do have connectors so they are replaceable
was wondering if anyone managed to get replacement ones

Re: window motor brushes for integra
I have pulled brushes out of bad motors to replace in ones that just the brushes are bad.
You can try your local alt./starter rebuild shop, they probably have the best supply of all kinds/sizes of brushs, just bring one in and see if they can match it up or ones close enough so you can mod them to fit.
A window motor at PicknPull is only $25. 94

Re: window motor brushes for integra
I have a 94 RS and I have spare just about everything other than body parts, I pay a kid that works at PicknPull $5 to call me and let me know when any G3 Integra is going to be put in the yard, if he calls I get some parts, last time it was a full set of front windows with regulators and switches and a trunk release cable w/lever, I will give him another $5 to call again, been working great.
I also make it a point to go on "sale days" to save some $$$$.
So if something breaks, I most likely have the part, [known working because I test] in the shop, I even have a spare engine and transmission, [complete] with 52,000, [just over 32,300 miles] on them. 94

yea im gonna have to get in line for that. we got so many vultures here...
my friend goes there alot he owns a shop and even he doesnt get there in time alot
i get lucky sometimes if people miss some rare parts lol
mostly its not that.
its when i really need something for the car it just magically disappears from everywhere
local stores junkyards craigslist ebay you name it.
i saw 4 gsr crankshafts sell fr 100-140 bucks before i bought the integra.
right after i bought it they were all sold in a matter of 2-3 days
