Converting from obd0 to obd1 and I have a 4wire o2 but there are:
1- Green wire
1- White wire
2- Black wires

My jumper asks for this:
1- O2 Sensor Heater Control
1- O2 Sensor Signal
1- O2 Sensor Power
1- O2 Ground

do you have an oem connector to plug in or are you trying to directly splice it?

O2 Sensor Input - WHT to D14 (needs to be a shielded wire)
Heater Control - BLK to A6
Sensor Ground - GRN to D22
Sensor Voltage - BLK to A25 or B1 (both are 12-volt sources, so either works fine.)

i dont need to plug it into the ECU, but I guess I could trace it back to the ECU since they are all colored wires.

That extra harness is what I have to wire the 4wire o2 too if your not understanding...

A ton of people have done this conversion and no one has an easier answer? Do I really have to just trace them back to the ecu?

If you can't figure that out, Just use spade connectors (1 male, 1 female) on each black wire. If you get a code, clear the ECU and switch the wires. After you have the right wire to the correct signal cut the spade connectors off and solder the wires as usual.

You posted a picture of my harness, but you do not have my harness. My easy to follow instructions clearly say hook up the pigtail wires to colors on the O2 sensor and not function.

I know what harness you have and you need to do it this way:

O2 Sensor Heater Control goes to Blue on the pigtail
O2 Sensor Signal goes to white on the pigtail
O2 Sensor Power goes to red on the pigtail
O2 Ground goes to black on the pigtail

Like we discussed before Im using the frog harness and it tells me to hook the wires up accordingly but I dont know what the wires are on the o2 itsself, I have the color coded diagram for the harness I have but I dont know what the wires are on the OEM 4wire o2 sensor that I have.

I need to know what the wires are on the oem o2 sensor so when I wire the pigtail its correct. I have two black wires, and I dont know the difference, I have the g2ic.com board helping me too since its the orgin of my car, but I have no for sure answer yet.

Not offended, just wanted to make sure others know that my instructions are super easy and will not have this problem.

I made this for you:

This is the O2 sensor itself. You can see that the bottom right is the 12V power.


This is the female O2 sensor connector that you will be installing onto the pigtail.

how do you make a the obd1 distrubitor fit properly to the head with the different monting points?

You have to buy the right dissy first of all, or cut a leg off

Blown, Thanks for helping me out even though I didnt buy your harness. I regret it. Im all about paying the extra money for this reason and I still remember the conversation I had with you when I was looking around.

Its cool man. I am just glad to help out. I started building harnesses because no one would help me. Now I spend tons of time repaying what I learned and help others.
