So I wired a hks turbo timer in my 90 integra and for some reason it works other than keeping the car running lol. The timer turns on reads voltage, rpm and even times out when i put the ebrake down but does not keep car running after key is turned off run.....what could cause this? I have 12v constant on white wire. 12v on black/yellow and yellow with ignition on. Should yellow wire have 12v on with accessory on?

The leads you need are the white, 12V+ hot at all times, [ign. switch power] and the black/yellow, [ign.1] power, [hot in run and start] and possibly the blue/white, [ign.2] power, [hot in run] if you have the blue/white 2nd ign. lead.

what model HKS turbo timer do you have? 94

red goes to white wire on ig harness green goes to yel/blk wire on ig harness blue goes to yellow wire on ig harness

black wire goes to ground

gray wire goes to handbrake wire

brown goes to rpm

Other blue which goes to speedo is just capped off.

Its a 8th gen hks full auto timer

Did you mean, green goes to black/yellow, [ign.1]?

Blue to yellow, yellow is the acc. lead, you should not need that for the timer, however there is a blue/white, [ign.2] that you may need, move the blue to the blue/white and see if that works...

Im gonna say screw the turbo timer for the time being....im having a big issue now. Car wont run....


I had it on and off quite a few times today testing the turbo timer. Well ive done it before with no flooding issues. Was looking through wires on ecu for speedo wire(only touched wires) and then car wouldnt start. It is a obd1 converted 90 integra with a moates demon in a p72 with a tunerview rd1 cluster. Well the car primes, the main realy clicks twice but when i go to start the car it turn over runs for a second then shuts off. I pulled the plugs they are fouled it flooding. Also noticed my cel doesn't come on with ignition on....

Sounds like ECU/ECM problem, injector pulse too long or staying open. 94

sound like you don't know what your doing. i would check your ign. wires. You did say you hardwire it in correct? that can cause a shortage. more info would be great.

Sounds like you should not post on my thread! It was hardwired and there was something wrong with that turbo timer because I had my buddy's type 0 wired in and it worked. Really no difference between a harness and hard wiring it just more work..btw what its doing now was with the timer wired and still doing it with it taken off.
