Tech school better then apprenticeship programs?
are automotive tech schools better then local apprenticeship programs? I will mostly be doing oil changes, lube tech, tires and other misc. things around the shop, while I learn here and there while working on a CD program in my personal time,I will get paid like a normal job.Or should I just consider going to an actual tech school and just learn all the basics in about 2 years?

Attend your local Community College automotive program, you'll save a small fortune in tuition costs, probably learn just as much if not more, and all your core credits (Reading, writing, math) can transfer to other, more advance AA/BA degrees if (and most likely when) you decide to change careers.
