Default resurface flywheel? again???

I have a flywheel that I just had resurfaced about 3-4000 miles ago(or 2-3 months ago) I bought a new clutch that i'm going to use with this same flywheel, do I need to resurface it again?? FYI, the flywheel has already been resurfaced TWICE....good to get it resurfaced a third time?

They do have a minimum thickness. As long as it's thicker than that, you'll be fine having it resurfaced again. The machine shop will be able to tell you if it's too thin or if it's still good.

As far as whether you have to get it resurfaced... you don't have to do anything you don't want to do... but just imagine putting it all back together and then having a shuddering clutch because your flywheel's no longer pan-flat

I just changed my clutch at ~160,000 miles, first time for this car. I took the flywheel to a transmission shop for resurfacing and they told me I didn't need it because they could still feel the machining marks. The flywheel looked good, no gooves or uneven surfaces, but I don't beat on my transmission either. My guess is you probably wouldn't need to have it resurfaced unless you really abuse your transmission.

I just took my flywheel off and looked at it...there is a noticeable groove throughout the center of the flywheel...looks like the clutch disk wore it out pretty fast...i was using a clutch specialties 6 puck, I just bought a braNd new one 6 puck, can I use this without resurfacing? should the new clutch disk fit perfect to where the old disk made the groove on the flywheel?
