Default replacement procedure for valve cover gasket?

Does anyone have the procedure for replacing the gasket on a F22B2 accord or know a link to one? I changed my plugs and noticed a little oil on the 2nd and 3rd plugs. Compression checked out at ~185 on all cylinders so thank goodness it wasn't the head gasket.

Thanks

Step 1 - Take off valvecover
Step 2 - Take off old gasket
Step 3 - Put on new gasket
Step 4 - Put on valvecover

Oil on your plugs sounds more like the O-rings that seal around the tops of the plugs, instead of the valvecover gasket itself. Same replacement though.

Was actually looking for something in a little more of a how-to. Such as steps like scraping and cleaning the surface of the old gasket, where to put the gasket sealant, how to install the plug gaskets that come with the kit, do I need to torque anything, etc. I think it is slightly more complicated than changing a roll of toilet paper.

I just gave you your how-to. The old gasket should come right off, it's just rubber. You should probably put the gasket sealant on....the gasket.

The plug gaskets are just little round gaskets that sit right into where the current ones are. As far as torquing, snug the valve-cover bolts only hand tight, but be careful, as they are notorious for breaking.

If you know what you're looking at as far as the correct gasket names, this should be just as easy as changing a wheel on a car. If you don't think that you can change 4 o-rings yourself, have someone else do it for you.

after a bunch of trials and errors, this is what i did to a recent f22b1:

1. unbolt the four nuts. then remove it
2. clean mating surfaces, valve cover and sparkplug cylinder
3. use rtv sealant at where mating surface of valve cover cornered to.
4. apply rtv sealant top and bottom of o-ring. this create a thicker layer of seal, because the o-ring is not thick enough, imo.
5. torque it to spec and let it dry for couple of hrs.
6. turn the engine over and let it heats up and retorque.
