Quick question: Are radiators interchangeable??? I mean, is a radiator just a radiator. For example, can I use radiator from a Ford or BMW in my integra providing proper mount and hose fitment?

Any help would be great!!!!

yes the concept of a radiator is all the same and most radiators are all the same. there is down flow radiators, crossflow radiators & there are doublepass radiators but they all work the same way....it all depends on what you can fit in the car.

1 - Physical mounting & hose connections, along with size & shape of the radiator. Can you make it fit? Are the hoses at the wrong corners?

2 - Cap. Some carmakers don't have a radiator cap at all. Many European cars like VW & Saab have a pressurized reservoir tank, & the 'radiator' cap is located over there on the tank.

3 - Heat load. If you pick a radiator that doesn't have enough cooling capacity, you're asking for trouble. This is more important than the other stuff.
