oil leaks from back of the block

oil leaks from back of the block
had a vtec solenoid leak for a while then sealed that and same day the whole back of the block started leaking oil like crazy.
I keep looking at it but cant find where its coming from since the whole backside and around oil pan seal is oily from driving and
it looks like its coming from oil filter and the pcv black box seal but it was dry the whole time until I fixed the dizzy and vtec solenoid leaks
I put a new pcv valve when rebuild and cleaned the black box inside out.

Re: oil leaks from back of the block
There should also be an oil pressure sending unit back there in that same area under the intake manifold.

Re: oil leaks from back of the block
that one is dry all around. the oil is under oil filter and black box.
I cant tell if its leaking from there and spreading allover oil pan or oil pan gasket is leaking.or something else leaking.
front is all dry
its hard to tell. **** gets everywhere cant find the source

Re: oil leaks from back of the block
Clean it all up and then high idle it in your drive way for 10-20 minutes. That way you don't get air flow throwing it everywhere and you can pinpoint the source. Higher rpm will help create high oil pressure like when driving. Regular idle might not give you that pressure to force the leak.
Good luck.

Re: oil leaks from back of the block
looks like its the oil pan gasket just soaked in oil
I reused it like 3 times lol (myhondahabit) first 2 times it didn't leak a bit
this time finally its just saturated with oil and just absorbing it through(wanted to see how many times I can get away with)
and it was definitely the oil filter seal and oil drain bolt.
all were leaking very very little but enough to notice when all of it was leaking
I seem to have a problem with keeping the oil in the engine.
have no problem with coolant just every build I manage to have oil leaks
I used flat sanding surface and even out the vtec solenoid gasket surface it sealed right away
