are oem honda bearings marked with letters now?
i had a set of used Honda bearings from a 98 gsr and checked 3 of them they had 3 numbers and then a letter stamped on the back of the bearing
the color codes worn out and cant tell color
machine shop measured it at .0595 which is thicker than any number from the bearing thickness chart.( he does have the right tool to measure them)
but the 3 bearings that i looked at had letters a,b and c stamped separately from the other 3.
since they are also listed by letters A through F on majestic Honda
only 3 had those letters and other ones didn't. not sure why

if you want to strip the crankshaft, dont bother at numbers, marked them with a marker.
if you cant find enough thick bearings, try ACL bearings
