Default OBD2A DRIVE CYCLE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

I have been trying to get my car inspected but everytime I take it in my ECU is saying that the drive cycle is not complete. I take it out and the (CIL) comes on.

I have tried keeping the rpm's below 3000 rpm's for 9 miles or 20 minutes and it did not work. I don't know what else to do from here!

Ill assume your talking about readiness codes not completed. No one can tell exactly how long it will take for them to set ready. Each monitor system has its own specific conditions that must be met, it can take days or months before all are ready. Just keep driving as you normaly would and do no reset the battery or the pcm as it will have to do it all over again. In many states you are able to pass w a maximum of two readiness codes not being ready.

please give some info for the car you are trying to get this info. in order to set the rediness conditions the car must be over 160F and driven @ 50 mph and the decell for 10 sec's and if the system is withen spec's according to the car's pre set conditions if the above conditions are completed and no continious or non continious monitor codes then it should be good to go.

It's for a 1997 prelude.

Just keep driving and don't reset the ECU.

I recently had a code 41 on my '00 Civic. After fixing it and resetting the ECU, it took ~2 days for everything to be set. I say ~2 days because I actually had to go and do my emissions too...and did it 2 working days after I fixed it. So it may have completed them all even earlier than that - I can't be for sure. But after ~200 miles of driving, I passed with no problems.

The CEL is trying to tell you to get it fixed.
What code are you getting? Could be an easy fix!
I tell my customers to drive about 30min's and stop for lunch. This way the car cools down to ambient temp. Then drive it back. Then come back tomorrow.
Usually this does it. Also you can pass in CA with only six monitors set. As long as the CEL is not on. However you will not pass with a DTC set also.

Random misfires on all cylinders. Because its a H22A with a OBD1 distributor, and a OBD2 ECU.
