Need help rewiring a car battery up front?
Hey guys, after searching for awhile all over the place I can't seem to find an answer for my problem. I just picked up a 2000 Honda civic si, and the guy before me wired the battery in the trunk. The power wire has been ran to the battery in the trunk with like a 6 gauge power wire for an amp and the car barely starts without the battery almost dieing. I'm wanting to put the battery back up front underneath the hood but I'm not exactly sure where to wire everything. I already have the battery tray bolted back in and I'm buying a new battery come Friday. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a battery cable to connect the positive terminal to the starter motor and underhood fuse block. Just follow the wires that were there when you bought the car they should already be there. Better off finding an oem cable somewhere.
The ground goes directly to the chassis on the shock tower.

The oem engine harness has the alternator wire going into the fusebox next to the battery. But if people have been relocating things or hacking the harness anything is possible...
